What flat irons work best?

I want my hair to be stick straight, and my hair is in the middle of slightly curly and straight. But my hair is so thick that it seams like it's impossible to straighten it! Do you have any suggestions about gels or sprays I could put on dry hair before straightening; and also the best flat iron out there?

sedu or conair silver edition the new one its red.

chi's are great!

No Racsim but if your white wet2straight
black, Paul Mitchel

they both work great but im black and wet to straight does notthing for my hair

but i just made the statement because everyoes hair is diif

i use wet2straight and it is probably one of the best straighteners ever and it is very cheap.

I think the best hair straightener out right now are the Sedu's. Jennifer Aniston uses it and you can see how straight and beautiful her hair is. It's a little pricey though. I have thick hair too and I had a hard time finding a good reasonably priced hair straightener but I found the Remington wet to straight and it works amazing ! it has heat levels from 1-30 and it heats up SUPER FAST. I use 28 and it doesnt damage my hair much since its ceramic. It's only around $30-50.

I also stopped using hair straightening products after I bought the remington because it doesn't need it. But i still use Tresemme heat tamer and works great.

i use a chi now becaz of my hair but i used to have remington wet2strait and that would probably work better since yours is not extremely curly. my hair is also really dry so i use garnier frutise leave in conditioning cream afterwards to leave my hair silky and frizz free but before that i us badazz straighting surum hope it helps

o and try putting your hair half up and half down then straghting the bottom half then the ponytail take it down and go over it 1 more time

Any Ceramic one should do. I like Andias.

Also I recommend Tresseme's Heat Protection spray.

Hair products:
straightening cream (most of them have heat protector, so that's good) Vo5 and Lo'real and garnier have great heat protecting straightening creams. You can also buy straightening shampoos and conditioners and wash your hair with them b4 you begin to straighten. You can do that for like the full effect.

flat irons:
Ceramic flat irons work best on hair and they are the least damaging to the hair. Regular, metal plated flat irons ( the cheapest one's you'll ever find) are the most damaging to the hair. Ceramic ones rule! lol

Ceramic Flat Irons
try a Chi, although they are expensive they are very good and cause the least damage to hair. However the Conair flat irons also work very well and range from about $35-80. as opposed to the Chi's $150-400
